SINGLE-MALT SCOTCHSingle Malt Scotch is a type of single malt whiskey distilled by a single distillery in a pot still using malted barley as the only grain ingredient. As with any Scotch whiskey, a single malt scotch must be distilled and matured in oak casks for at least three years and one day, in Scotland.Ardbeg 10 yr - An Islay single-malt known for its deep peat and caramel flavors. Glenlivet 12 yr - Two hundred years and still going strong, this grand original is known for its notes of pineapple. Glenmorangie 10 yr - Elegant, floral and very complex guarantees an amazing and never disappointing experience. Lagavulin 16 yr - Another gem from Islay, and true to form, this is bold, rich and peat-heavy. Laphroaig 10 yr - This classic from Islay uses malted barley dried over a peat fire. The smoke from the peat gives Laphroaig its rich flavor. Macallan 12 yr - Flavors of oranges, spice, chocolate and dried fruit make this one of the best single-malt scotches in the world. Macallan 18 yr - Declared the Best Scotch in the World by Whiskey Magazine - enough said. Oban 14 yr - Known as the West Highlands single-malt scotch, slightly darker than Talisker. Talisker 10 yr - Big, sweet malt, oak, a touch of oranges, limes and lemon with sweet red pepper and just a touch of black pepper. We enjoy carrying a broad range of single-malt scotches and we try and fill many different styles. If you have a particular favorite that is not on the list, please let us know.
